Challenging Socio-Legal Methodologies – an Oxford / Cardiff workshop

On 7 May 2021 Gavin Sullivan was invited to participate in a workshop entitled ‘Challenging Socio-Legal Methodologies’ jointly organised by the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Oxford and the Centre of Law and Society at Cardiff University. The workshop brought together a diverse international group of scholars engaging with problems of method in socio-legal research. Dr. Sullivan presented a paper entitled ‘Following the Data in global security law and governance’. Select papers from the workshop will be developed into articles for a forthcoming special issue of the Journal of Law and Society on this topic.
